My Manifesto: A Declaration of Beliefs

Teaching is a form of learning, not just for the student but also for the teacher.
The more we (the educator and the student) interact with one another, the better prepared we are when tackling life's hardships.
Here's an idea: Two people
share one idea of theirs with one another. Suddenly, those two people now have two ideas.
Two can be all the motivation it takes to continue learning, reading, and writing.
English is an art. Unlike mathematics it takes many forms.  Unlike the sciences anyone can pick it back up, even after several years of absence.  And just like history it is a story that continues to chronologize itselfin the continued act of reading and writing.
Captivate, ignite or nothing.
As I learn more about my students and myself, I will take the actions necessary for them to also carry on.
They'll either learn what I've learnt, or prove me wrong by inversely learn more than I have taught them to prove me wrong.
I want them to fight.
I fight as well.
I fight to make sure my students will leave the classroom knowing full well that there is always something more to learn.
Maybe the best learning is teaching others.  And maybe the best teaching is learning about others.
My students should always reflect me because I am simply a reflection of them.
I am a universal student and so are you.
